Pavement Ends

Purpose:
Advance warning to inform drivers to expect a change in the physical conditions of the road itself. Pictograms need no language. This one represents a road with lane demarcations that end in a rocky, unpaved road. Sign will alert drivers that they need to slow down. "Pavement Ends" sign is yellow with black pictogram. Pavement Ends may be a single sign or a series of signs up to several kilometres before the approaching change in road conditions.
