Bidirectional Checkerboard

Purpose:
Advance warning to inform drivers to expect a change in the physical conditions of the road itself. Sharp turn or bend in the road in the direction of the arrow. The "Checkerboard" sign border warns of danger. Slow down; be careful. Checkerboard - Abrupt Turn may be a single sign or a series of signs up to several kilometres before the approaching change in road conditions.
